Its hybrid construction uses ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene in the core – a material lighter and stronger than both steel and kevlar and robust polyamide to make the protective sheath. The combination gives exceptional strength and excellent knotability. The Master Cord 6 mm pre-cut lengths have sealed and rounded ends and ready to use in a wide range of situations, including making prusik loops, creating anchors and abseil rigs, and threading slings and hourglasses.
