Using the latest technologies of the Dura Ace R9100 and Ultegra R8000 road components, the Shimano 105 R7000 groupset offers additional versatility and improved riding performance for a wide range of cyclists. The shifters are ergonomically sophisticated and match the slim design of their Ultegra predecessors, while the medium-length rear derailleur and the 11-30 CS-HG700 cassette extend the gear range. The highlight of the new 105 is the addition of hydraulic disc brakes to the standard range, which have the usual good characteristics of disc-specific Shimano components. The flat brake callipers are compatible with Ice Technologies pads and brake rotors from a diameter of 140 mm to offer the most powerful Shimano 105 groupset ever.
