- 1 Stage:
- The AC2 1st stage can be used in water temperatures above 10°C and features a straightforward unbalanced piston design that is easy to service. With just one HP port, it’s ideal for divers who don’t rely on an air-integrated computer. This traditional 1st stage delivers a no-frills, dependable breathing experience, perfect for high-frequency recreational dives.Unique to Cressi is the AC2’s external 1st stage IP adjustment system. This allows service centres to fine-tune the intermediate pressure while the regulator is on the cylinder, providing a quick fix to keep it in use until the next service. The high-capacity conical filter is designed to trap cylinder debris, before it damages the internal components of the 1st stage.Compatible with parts from the AC25 and AC5 models, the AC2 shares a single maintenance kit for INT and DIN versions, simplifying and reducing servicing costs.
- 2ND Stage:
- The COMPACT 2nd stage is lightweight and comfortable, helping to reduce jaw fatigue on longer dives. A large purge button is easy for new divers to locate and the adjustable Venturi system has two options, a pre-dive mode to minimise free-flows at the surface and a dive mode for optimising performance underwater.With its impact-resistant front cover, anti-scratch surface and easy-to-maintain design, the AC2 + COMPACT is a practical and cost-effective regulator for entry-level divers and dive centres.
