This allows service centres to fine-tune the intermediate pressure while the regulator is attached to the cylinder, providing a quick fix to keep it in use until the next service interval. The high-capacity conical filter, which offers a larger surface area than traditional flat filters, traps impurities before they damage the internal components of the 1st stage.
